Warranty Policy
PROSARIS® warrants that the ultrasonic sensors ("Pucks") found in products such as the OL1 Solo and OL2 ProKit, as well as other product components such as cases, tablets, and cables, will be free from defects in material and workmanship for the first year (1-year) starting immediately from the time of product delivery.*
This is referred to throughout our website (prosaris.ca) and relating product communications as the "Standard Warranty", "1-Year Warranty", and "1-Year Standard Warranty".

Mechanical and electrical failures
Production defects
Power surge failures
Failures from heat, dust, and humidity (within design)
Critical battery performance related issues
If a product becomes faulty within your 1-Year Standard Warranty, please contact us at support@prosaris.ca with your product order information, alongside the problem you're experiencing. It may be determined that parts can be easily installed by the customer, and PROSARIS® reserves the right to ship replacement parts directly to the customer for installation. If it is determined that the product needs to be shipped back to PROSARIS® at 3-26 Topsail Court, Bedford, NS, B4B 1K5, Canada for repair, PROSARIS® will cover the shipping costs.*
Shipping costs from PROSARIS® back to the customer will be covered by PROSARIS® for repair parts and/or repaired faulty Pucks.
Limitation of warranty
The warranty herein applies only to the original customer and is conditional upon the customer giving prompt notice to PROSARIS® of any discovered defects. PROSARIS® shall not be responsible for any other defects or damage, including, but not limited to, any defects or damage caused by or resulting from:
Alterations to the Puck by anyone other than PROSARIS;**
Accident;
Damage due to an intentional or negligent act of a third party;
Abuse or negligence;
Mishandling;
Failure to use the Puck in a safe and reasonable manner; or
Force majeure.
Advanced Care Plan
PROSARIS® offers an additional protection plan called the Advanced Care Plan (ACP). The duration of the ACP is 5 years, and offers extended coverage compared to the 1-Year Standard Warranty. However, the ACP only applies to the OL2 Puck. If purchased, the ACP does not stack with the 1-Year Standard Warranty. For more information, please contact us at sales@prosaris.ca.
*Please note that upon receiving the returned product, if the product is found not faulty, then the customer is responsible for reimbursing the shipping costs and any associated charges to PROSARIS.
** If a PROSARIS® Puck, in the judgment of PROSARIS®, shows evidence of having been altered, modified, or repaired without the authorization of PROSARIS®, the warranty herein shall not apply.
THE WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE IS EXCLUSIVE AND NO OTHER WARRANTY, WHETHER WRITTEN OR ORAL, IS EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. PROSARIS® SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL PROSARIS® BE LIABLE TO THE CUSTOMER OR ANY OTHER PARTY FOR EXEMPLARY, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONTINGENT OR CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR POSSESSION OF THE PUCK, INCLUDING THE VALUE OF THE TABLET OR MOBILE DEVICE USED WITH THE PUCK, WHETHER OR NOT PROSARIS® HAS RECEIVED NOTICE OF THE POSSIBILITY OR CERTAINTY OR SUCH DAMAGES OR LOSSES. THESE LIMITATIONS SHALL APPLY NOTWITHSTANDING ANY FAILURE OF ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF ANY LIMITED REMEDY.
